WOC 2026 in Prague went great – see you in two years!

Every two years the global ophthalmic community converges at WOC. This June it took place in Prague.

The programme reflected where ophthalmology is heading: hands-on surgical training, AI-driven diagnostics, advanced imaging, and clinical discussions that bridge specialties. At our booth, surgeons could explore the full RUMEX range in person: from reusable titanium and stainless steel instruments to single-use solutions and consumables, and many left with exactly what they came for. And woven through it all, a milestone: the International Council of Ophthalmology marking its 100th anniversary – a moment to reflect on how far the field has come, and how much further it's going.

For RUMEX, WOC is always more than an exhibition. It's where we reconnect with partners from across the globe, meet the surgeons shaping tomorrow's practice, and listen.
