Used for:
• attaining a standardized flange
• sutureless intrascleral intraocular IOL fixation
• proper IOL centration
A reference cylinder:
• measures out 1 mm of haptic to be melted
• eliminates the need for rulers, simplifying intraoperative measurements
• pushes melted haptic into sclera
Grooved tips allow for a gentle holding of haptics or sutures without the risk of kinking them.
