DMEK

DMEK surgery (Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty) is a modern, minimally invasive partial corneal transplant replacing only the damaged inner layer (endothelium) and Descemet's membrane. A specialized set of DMEK instruments includes DMEK spatulas, hooks, corneal trephines, and DMEK forceps.
