Reusable Posterior Scissors

Vitreoretinal scissors are used in ophthalmology for controlled cutting during posterior segment surgery. Advanced vitrectomy scissors support accurate membrane dissection in confined intraocular spaces. RUMEX offers vertical scissors – typically used for cutting straight down, perpendicular to the retina, to release strong pulling forces – as well as angled horizontal scissors, commonly used for gentle peeling along the retinal surface, and curved scissors, which provide greater flexibility for precise cutting in tight or hard-to-reach areas.
